Maria Fernanda Londono is a bilingual psychotherapist certified in the state of Georgia. She has over 10 years of experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions across diverse populations.
In 2004, Maria Fernanda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia State University. For eight years, she dedicated her career to working with victims of violent crimes, including domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, and human trafficking. In 2012, she obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and a postgraduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia, graduating with academic honors, summa cum laude.
Maria Fernanda’s therapeutic approach is integrative. She uses various evidence-based treatment models tailored to the specific needs of her clients. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, she is a Certified Anger Management Specialist with extensive experience facilitating both individual and group anger management classes for adolescents and adults.
